Installing the protocols of neighborliness in the operating system

We are creating a space where moms, and some dads are going to learn about the cost of new and cutting edge tech companies while they invest in a basket of them, through a tactic called dollar cost averaging; just put the same amount of money every month and invest in another company whose product is trying to do good while making money. We are asking that kids put up $50 a month that will be invested in their child’s name from that basket. One a month. For some mothers in this small group of people whose zoomer kids I’ve known all their lives, $500 would be easy. For some, $50 is too much. I am going to ask that this becomes a mom top up a mom or dad thing; more affluent people give to those who can invest less, in order to all be able to share in any potential future abundance.

This is building reciprocity and giving as a good thing to, and you can give to invest or you can give to help someone else invest. Those are some of the what my favorite theologian and Old Testament scholar Walter Brueggeman called the protocols of neighborliness. We use his framework to build our Neighborhood Economics and https,://faithfinance.net conference content and newsletter editorial framework.
